The Croatian Adriatic peninsula of Istria has transformed in recent years from the former mass tourism destination into one of the most versatile cultural and culinary destinations in Europe.

This is reason enough to experience this region with the Morgan. This tour takes you through the Truffle region of central Istria, the medieval towns of Motovun and Buzet, the artists‘ village of Groznjan, and the well-known coastal towns of Rovinj and Opatija. In one word - breathtaking!

Day 3 - After a hearty breakfast, we make our way to Istria. Past rugged cliffs and small medieval villages on green hills we reach Opatija in the afternoon, dinner in the hotel.

Day 4 to 6 - During the next three days you will get to know Istria from its most beautiful side. Our trips take us through the truffle area, along the coast, up hills and hills, on small roads away from traffic and tourist crowds. We experience the truffle search up close and taste this delicious tuber mushroom. Of course, a visit to Rovinj and Opatija is on our journey through the Croatian peninsula which cannot be missed.

Day 7 - Its time to say goodbye to Istria. Today we travel through back country roads through Slovenia into Austria where we arrive in Velden in the afternoon. On the lakeside terrace of our hotel, we enjoy the last rays of sunshine and review an eventful journey.

Day 8 - Unfortunately, this trip also comes to an end. After a brilliant breakfast, we saddle our Morgans and head for home
