Little Palmina

"Little Palmina" was built in the Split neighborhood of Varoš, over 200 years ago. In more recent years, this 200 year old stone home was completely renovated by us with great attention to detail, preserving the uniqueness and history of the home while updated it with modern conveniences. Both the apartment and the holiday room are in a quiet location at the foot of Marjan, and only minutes away from the old town of Split.

Apartment: The small apartment is on 2 levels. On the first level, next to the entrance area, there is a small bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, stove and oven, a Nespresso coffee machine and electric water kettle. On the second level - the "Gallery" - is the bedroom with a fantastic view over the city and the harbor. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning and wifi.

Holiday Room: The room on the ground floor is equipped with a double bed (140cm), bathroom with toilet and shower, refrigerator, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, air conditioning, TV and Wifi.

In front of the house there is a seat, which offers the guests the possibility to have breakfast in the open air or to enjoy the balmy evenings with a glass of wine ...

Of course you can also rent the entire house exclusively - it can accommodate up to 4 people.

You will be staying in Varoš, one of the oldest, most unique neighborhoods of Split where century old stone homes line the narrow, quiet streets that fisherman and farmers settled in during the 14th century. This neighborhood is located right at the foot of Marjan hill which is a densely, wooded peninsula to the west of Split. If you follow the long stairs that lead up to Marjan hill you will find a fantastic view over the city at the Vidilica where you can snap a panorama photo and sip on a cappuccino in the café while soaking up the view. In addition to stunning views and great coffee on Marjan, you can also enjoy many of the walking, jogging, hiking and cycling paths, or explore some of the hidden bays to find the perfect spot to take a swim. Just a few minutes walk from the front door is the West Coast Riva which is lined with inviting cafes. Enjoy your drink, while overlooking the sea and watching the numerous yachts and sailboats entering the marina. In the immediate vicinity of "Little Palmina" you will find a few "konoba"s, bakeries and small supermarkets. If you continue on only a few meters further you will reach the Old town of Split with numerous shops, restaurants, bars and of course the world famous Diocletian Palace! Although the city itself is worth the trip, you can choose to explore the surroundings areas with our Morgan 4/4. Enjoy day trips along the Adriatic coast and/or the hinterland. On the coastal road you can reach interesting towns like Sibenik, Primosten, Trogir or even the Krka waterfalls. Or you can choose to drive south and experience the Markaska Riviera or take the ferry to the island of Brac or Hvar and discover the flair of island life. If you decide to explore the hinterland, you will drive along winding roads, even canyons and fjords that are not uncommon to Karl May films.
